Silhouette
Exploration-- silhouette variation technique
Select
a fabric of choice, create a personalized surface design or fabric manipulation,
choose your favorite fashion magazine, and tear out various silhouettes
that are visually appealing or close to your design esthetic. Proceed to cut-out
each silhouette, and then have fun
placing each cut-out silhouette on top of the fabric surface you
designed.
Draping
Draping in Muslin

sculptural 3D textures conveying a sense of depth; textile landscapes; and 3D
surface design. Draping or modeling on
the stand or dress form for fashion design, dress structure development;
fashion design techniques; flat pattern drafting, moulage; modifications,
garment construction. Utilizing details,
scaling details to size, testing garment and apparel ideas, pattern cutting.
Muse
A Muse to Amuse
A charming class assignment titled a "Muse to Amuse"; whereas, the objective was to create a personal 'muse' (a force personified as a woman, who is the source of inspiration for a creative artist).
I initially named her 'Amira-Mor'; during contemplating the name change
to 'Leonor'; yet finally her name is 'Leonora'. Did I mentioned,
Leonora is a Mob Wife.
